If your doctor prescribes Remodulin, there is support along the way. Remodulin is only available through a special kind of pharmacy called a Specialty Pharmacy, which is different from your local pharmacy. Specialty Pharmacy providers will work closely with you and your healthcare team to get you started on Remodulin and provide step-by-step training to be sure you are comfortable with your pump.

Through Specialty Pharmacy, you will receive personalized education and information, along with continued guidance, resources, and support that include:

  • Coordinating your Remodulin refills
  • Regular follow-ups to see if you have any questions, concerns, or other needs
  • Follow-up nurse visits to your home, if needed
  • 24-hour patient hotline

What is Remodulin?

Remodulin is a prescription medication used to treat adults with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; WHO Group 1), which is high blood pressure in the arteries of your lungs. Remodulin can reduce symptoms associated with exercise. Remodulin was studied mainly in patients with NYHA Functional Class II-IV symptoms. It is not known if Remodulin is safe and effective in children.

In people with PAH who need to switch from epoprostenol, Remodulin is approved to slow the worsening of symptoms.
